The Yorkville Community Benefits Association (YCBA) will break ground on this new building soon. The building will house 4 fire fighting apparatus, that’s adding two vehicles to the existing station, doubling our capabilities, and expanding our space for training and storage too.
The YCBA has done an amazing job of fundraising for this beneficial new building. All funds have come from YOU through your generous support of the Ice Cream Social, Quilt Raffle, Virtual Farm Stand, Virtual Silent Auction, and other fun fundraising events over the years.
This year, due to the Covid19 crisis that is again surging in our community, we cancelled the Ice Cream Social and are directly asking for your help to complete the building.
The Social raises approximately $18,000 towards Yorkville volunteer fire fighting resources each year. For community safety we have not held the Social in two years and now need to ask you to help us by making a donation to the YCBA at our time of need.
